Overview
At Raj.B Atelier we take care to ensure your garments reach you in perfect condition. This Shipping Policy explains processing times, shipping methods, costs, tracking, international shipments, customs, and what to do if there is a delivery problem or damage. Please read carefully before placing an order.
Order Processing Time
All orders go through a processing stage before dispatch:
- Ready-to-ship items: typically processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
- Made-to-order / Tailored items: processing time depends on the product and customization — typical production time is 7–21 business days. Production timelines are shown on the product page or confirmed in your order email.
- Processing time does not include shipping transit time.
Shipping Methods & Carriers
We use reputable couriers and logistics partners to deliver your orders. Carrier selection is based on delivery destination, package type, and service availability. Common carriers we work with include local and national services such as Delhivery, Blue Dart, FedEx, Ecom Express, and India Post. For international shipments we may use FedEx, DHL, or other international couriers.
Shipping Zones & Transit Times
Transit times vary by destination and service level:
- Domestic (within India): typically 2–7 business days depending on city/region and courier.
Metro cities: 2–3 days.
Tier 2 / Tier 3 / remote locations: 4–7 days. - International: typically 5–21 business days depending on destination country, customs clearance, and courier chosen. Express international services are faster but costlier.
These are estimates — actual delivery times can be affected by public holidays, customs delays, local carrier handling, weather, or force majeure events.
Shipping Rates & Charges
- Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, destination and shipping method selected.
- Free shipping promotions (if any) are subject to minimum order values and geographic restrictions and will be clearly displayed during checkout.
- For bulky or heavy orders (e.g., multiple garments or special packaging), additional shipping or handling fees may apply. We will notify you if extra charges are necessary.
Taxes, Duties & Import Charges (International Orders)
For international shipments, import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees may be charged by your country’s customs authority. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost and are the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise stated. Please check with local customs for applicable charges before ordering.
Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, we will send a shipping confirmation email or SMS with the courier name and a tracking number (where available). You can use the tracking number on the carrier’s website to view the shipment status. If you do not receive tracking details within 48 hours of dispatch, contact us at info@rajbatelier.com.
Multiple Shipments
Large orders or multiple-item orders may be shipped in more than one package and may arrive separately. You will receive tracking details for each shipment if applicable.
Delivery Attempts & Failed Deliveries
- Couriers usually attempt delivery once or more depending on their policy. If delivery cannot be completed, the carrier may hold the package at a local facility for collection or attempt redelivery.
- If an item is returned to us because of failed delivery attempts, incorrect address, or uncollected parcel, any additional re-shipping costs will be billed to the customer before reshipment.
- Please ensure your shipping address and contact number are correct at the time of order to avoid delays or additional charges.
Lost, Stolen or Damaged Shipments
If you receive a damaged item or your package is lost/stolen in transit:
- Contact us immediately at info@rajbatelier.com with your order number, photos of damage (if applicable), and any tracking details. Report damaged packaging to the courier at the time of delivery and note the condition on the delivery receipt if possible.
- We will open an investigation with the courier. For damaged goods we may request the item be returned (we will advise return instructions). For lost packages we will file a claim with the courier and work to resolve the issue.
- Where the courier accepts liability, we will arrange a replacement shipment or refund as appropriate after claim resolution.
Signature, ID & Delivery Requirements
Some shipments may require a signature upon delivery. For high-value orders or international shipments, the carrier may require ID verification. Please cooperate with the carrier to ensure successful delivery.
Address Changes
If you need to change the shipping address after placing an order, contact us immediately. Address changes are not always possible once the order has been processed or dispatched — additional fees and delays may apply.
Shipping for Made-to-Measure & Customized Orders
Made-to-measure and customized garments may require special packaging or courier handling. These orders can take longer to prepare and ship. Please review estimated production and shipping timelines shown at checkout. For any concerns about production or delivery timelines, contact us before placing the order.
International Customs & Prohibited Items
- Customs rules and import restrictions vary by country. Certain fabrics or items may be restricted in some destinations. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure items can be legally imported into the destination country.
- We will not be responsible for packages seized or destroyed by customs due to undeclared/prohibited items or incorrect documentation provided by the customer.
Expedited & Saturday Delivery
Expedited shipping options (express/overnight) may be available at checkout for an additional charge and are subject to carrier availability. Saturday delivery or special delivery instructions depend on the courier and may incur extra fees.
Insurance & Declared Value
High-value shipments may be insured at the customer’s request or automatically by us depending on courier rules. Insurance covers loss or damage in transit as per the carrier’s policy. Declared value for customs and insurance purposes will reflect the order value.
Force Majeure & Unexpected Delays
Delays due to events beyond our control (natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government actions, extreme weather) may occur. We will communicate delays where possible but cannot be held liable for extraordinary events affecting carriers or customs.
